I love history.

They are cuddly soft...especially the PM ones.
Their clothes and accessories are so NEAT.

They accept all the things I make/ buy for them
I've had some for years but i only went nuts collecting recently after a very bad year--dad died, friends were too busy with own lives, major health problems. I just found it comforting to have my hands on one of these dolls and just brush her hair. You know how studies have proved that petting a pet lowers the blood pressure. For me it's the same type of thing but unlike my dogs the Ag's don't make any demands. After i get done fixing Kaya's hair or changing her dress she doesn't haunt me until i get her a fresh bowl of water, more food or a new toy.

they keep me young in a world that wants us to grow up too fast
they cheerfully wait for me all day, right where I left them

- They have stories, and you get to know their personality and lives
- Some (historical) live in the past so you can learn history
- They have wonderful accessories
- The are always there to comfort us when we had a bad day
- Did I mention they are gorgeous looking?
- They are collectable
